GEnder and power
Dr. Houria Djoudi is a senior scientist for the Centre of International Forestry Research (CIFOR) based in Indonesia. From a social science perspective Houria's work spans climate change, adaptation, intersections of social inequality, biodiversity, sustainable development, community ecology, and society and environment. In this BBL she discusses understanding social power relations through the lens of intersectionality. This lens offers a means to better understand differential impacts of climate change and how these shape, and are shaped by, complex power dynamics of social and political relations.
