Emma Sundström is a systems developer at the centre, providing support on programming, text mining, working with large datasets or geospatial modelling

Sundström also teaches and organizes courses and workshops on technology and geospatially related topics. She has built up and hosts the SRC infrastructure for software development and experimentation.

Sundström has a background in computer science, and joined Stockholm Resilience Centre in 2011 after having spent seven years working as a systems developer in the IT industry.

She has a strong interest in complex adaptive systems theory and how this perspective can contribute to the centre´s social-ecological research.
