Jenny Norrby works as a research assistant in the Rapid Transition Lab – Swedish Food Systems project.
In the Rapid Transition Lab – Swedish Food Systems project, Norrby is investigating Swedish food system actors’ responses during the Covid-19 pandemic. Insights will be used to develop post-pandemic scenarios together with the project partners and to identify strategies that can support and enable a transformation towards a resilient, healthy, and sustainable food system in Sweden.
Norrby holds a Master's of Science degree in Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development from the Stockholm Resilience Centre, Stockholm University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a focus on textile production and marketing, from The Swedish School of Textiles. In her Master thesis, Norrby investigated how the public meal can be used as a means for food systems transformation by studying the case of Södertälje municipality. Prior to engaging in the Masters program, Norrby worked in the private sector, or more specifically at the buying department of a Swedish clothing brand.
